ScreenConnect Update: Tuesday, 16-Mar-2021 @ 10:30 AM
On Tuesday, 16-Mar-2021, starting at 10:30 AM, the ScreenConnect
service will be unavailable for up to an hour for a server update. During this time, you will be disconnected from existing remote sessions, and you will not be able to start new remote sessions. We will distribute client updates during the next standard maintenance window.
LNS Protected in Wilson Offices
Please note that in Wilson Lab, LNS Protected wifi is only available in L0, L0E, and the tunnel. In Wilson Lab offices, please use Cornell RedRover/eduroam for wifi; if your laptop or smartphone detects a LNS Protected wifi signal, it will likely be very weak, and you will not be able to establish a robust connection. If you need to connect to LNS Protected in Wilson Lab office spaces, please use an existing LNS Protected wired connection or submit a ServiceRequest
to have one installed.
Selecting Audio Devices in Windows 10
In Windows 10, the audio output automatically switches to the device that was most recently connected. To change your audio output device, see this link for instructions

General network and server maintenance will occur every Tuesday from 12 noon to 2:00 PM.

, but with the size and complexity of our network there is always the potential for something to go wrong. We will do our best to contain all network maintenance and planned outages to Tuesdays from 12 noon to 2:00 PM.
Unless other arrangements have been made, CLASSE-managed Windows systems may be updated and rebooted on Tuesday morning at 2:00 AM
