Videoconferencing in PSB-401

  Laptop In-room computer Polycom
A. Projector
  • Lower projection screen
  • Press DISPLAY: ON (wall panel)
  • Lower projection screen
  • Press DISPLAY: ON (wall panel)
PSB401Polycom
B. Select source
  • Press LAPTOP button (#3 on wall panel)
  • Press COMPUTER button (#1 on wall panel)
C. Connect cables
  • Audio/video output:
    • If your laptop is HDMI-capable: plug in HDMI
    • Otherwise, plug in VGA (1) + audio jack (2)
  • Audio/video input:
 N/A
Zoom
  • Join Zoom meeting and select "connect audio by computer" (if offered)
  • Check audio/video settings (see below)
  • Test audio: Microphone → Audio Options... → Test Computer Mic & Speakers
  • Video Settings... → My Video: you may want "Enable mirror effect" UNCHECKED
  • Applications → Internet → Zoom
  • Sign In with SSO (for Cornell)
  • Enter your company domain: https://cornell.zoom.us
  • Check audio/video settings (see below)
  • Test audio: Microphone → Audio Options... → Test Computer Mic & Speakers
  • Video Settings... → My Video: you may want "Enable mirror effect" UNCHECKED
  • LOG OUT WHEN DONE
Vidyo
  • Launch VidyoDesktop and join meeting
  • Check audio/video settings (see below)
  • Applications → Internet → VidyoDesktop
  • Check audio/video settings (see below)
  TURN OFF PROJECTOR AFTER USE! TURN OFF PROJECTOR AFTER USE! TURN OFF PROJECTOR AFTER USE!
