    • Title: Towards Multifield Inflation in Random Landscapes

      Abstract: The study of random N=1 supergravities with many fields gives the unique opportunity to explore a physically motivated inflationary landscape. I will discuss the statistical properties and physical implications of a random N=1 supergravity landscape. Local properties are accessible via random matrix theory. To explore inflationary trajectories I propose an efficient method to iteratively construct high dimensional random landscapes. While generic slow roll parameters are of order one, the approach to the final vacuum promises an interesting behavior in the vicinity of approximately supersymmetric points. I will conclude by discussing possible applications to vacuum statistics and the study of multifield inflation.
